Photo Shoot Success Now To Photoshop

The shoot consisted of about 50-100 photos as I experimented with different positions and facial expressions. The shoot was a success and I will now begin editing the images on Photoshop to achieve that picture perfect modeling photograph. This is achieved through using the Healing Tool and several other aspects that make Adobe Photoshop so popular. By using these tools, it gives the model an unnatural look because her skin will be perfect and any blemishes will be removed and so forth... but it looks GREAT!

Costume:

• White Top (to stand out against the black background)
• Green Skirt (denoting naturalness and innocence in the model)
• No necklace so as not to detract attention.

Shots:

• Close up shots
• Medium close up shots... no long shots because i want to capture the expression on her face connoting sad emotions!

Photo shoot Tomorrow!

I have planned the photo shoot for tomorrow and have bought a black sheet of material to hang in the background creating a dark background. I've done this denote the darkness of the Music Video, representing how she can't yet see the light!

Ancillary Task Plan Over Half Term

I plan to photograph my model, Robyn Gravestock over half term!
I will use Robyn as a model because she was the main character in my Music Video, and it is fitting to see her face on the front of my CD and Magazine Advert!

I have thought up some ideas for the photo shoot, and will photograph her at my house in Stocking Pelham where the Music Video was shot. I will take modeling type images, things that would be expected in a fashion magazine, focusing on a saddened face, as she stares into the lens... empty.
I have chosen this expression because the video features a break up between her and her boyfriend, although there is hope at the end, when he arrives on his Motorbike... my fairytale ending! Using a straight/saddened face appears more professional and when do you ever see cheesy grins on the front of a CD holding a sad piece of music... exactly NEVER!

The title of this magazine has been created using a serif-font creating added interest within th The three main dominant colours of this magazine include:

• Black
• Red
• White

… which represent a calm theme. The layout of this magazine is eye-catching and would draw more attention to those who enjoy the soft, subtle and gentle classical music. The fact that the model is holding an instrument, more specifically a violin, it is obvious to the viewer that the Magazine contains classical music. This Magazine Advert successfully captures their target audience.

Analysis 2: Janet Jackson

The three main dominant colours of this magazine include:

·         Blue

·         Pink

·         White

… which represent a femininity and a potential summer theme. Similar to the previous magazine the blue font especially stands out to the reader, to catch their attention. The layout of this magazine is eye-catching and would draw more attention to those who like hip-hop or pop music. The models facial expression is friendly and playful inviting the reader in, whilst the previous advert, the reader felt as though they were entering his territory.
